DNA synthesis is a fundamental process that occurs in all living organisms. It is the process by which new DNA molecules are created from existing ones. DNA synthesis is essential for cell division, growth, and the transmission of genetic information from one generation to the next.

The process of DNA synthesis is tightly regulated to ensure that errors are minimized and that each daughter cell receives an accurate copy of the genetic material.
