Dr. Eric Tran is currently leading the Antitumor T-Cell Response Laboratory at Earle A. Chiles Research Institute, a division of Providence Cancer Institute. He is establishing an adoptive T-cell therapy program with the ultimate goal of developing more effective T-cell transfer immunotherapies for patients with epithelial cancers. Eric earned his Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada, and completed his postdoc training at NCI, as I mentioned earlier. Eric has multiple peer-reviewed research publications in the New England Journal of Medicine, Nature, Science, and others. In 2017 he was named Health Care's 5 Under 40, and before that in the same year, he was named one of the nation's 15 most-prominent cancer researchers by the Sidney Kimmel Foundation for Cancer Research.
