Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

• To participate in the GenSpark Points Program, you must have a valid account at https://www.genscript.com. Only those who enroll (“Member” or “Members”) will be able to redeem Points and will be entitled to access the program account information.
• Only end users (excluding distributors) are eligible for the GenSpark Points Program. The program participant's sole responsibility is to ensure that the collection and redemption of GenSpark points do not contravene their employment contract or any local laws regarding sales promotion or sales incentive schemes. Authorized clients of corporations, groups, organizations, and associations, including schools and universities, need to obtain prior permission from their employer to consent to their participation in GenSpark Points Program. Unless an individual is the purchaser and end user, ownership of the reward(s) belongs to the employer/unit rather than the authorized client.
• GenSpark Points Program is valid for global customers excluding Japan, China, and India.
• GenScript reserves the right to modify the program.

2. Start Date:

• Beginning on June 27, 2024, members will be able to receive Points according to the requirements outlined in Section 4. Points will be issued to the enrolled member who has completed the enrolment process.

3. Expiration of Points:

• Points expire 365 days after earning and are redeemed in the order earned. The validity period is not extendable.
• Points accrued under the former EZcoupon program shall be transferred to the GenSpark Points Program accounts of all eligible participants. The validity period of EZcoupon points expiring between June 27, 2024, and June 27, 2025, will be extended for 365 days.
• If customers violate the Terms and Conditions, the points will be invalid.

4. Earning Points

• Members can earn points on eligible purchases or participate in specified Point-earning promotions or activities.
• GenScript reserves the right to review and deduct points that may have been fraudulently claimed.

Members of the GenSpark Points Program can earn points through the following activities:

Points for Events

• Registration Bonus: Members can earn 1,000 Points upon successful registration.
• Profile Setting: Members can earn 1,000 Points for completing their profile, which includes industry information and specifying interests, one time.
• Program Exploration: Members can earn 200 Points for their first full visit to the GenSpark Points Program page.
• Knowledge Battle: Members have the opportunity to accrue points upon successful completion of the GenScript knowledge quiz. There is no restriction on the number of times one can respond. Upon providing all correct answers, a total of 300 Points can be earned, and this reward is limited to a one-time issuance.
• Social Media Sharing: Members who share the GenSpark Points Program Link on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, or X) can earn 300 Points.
• Scholar Club Program: Members who cite GenScript in a published research article that utilizes GenScript’s products and/or services can earn 1,000 Points. Members who share it on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, or X) with the “@GenScript” tag can earn 2,000 Points.
• Referral Program: Members who refer new customers to place their first order can earn 1,000 Points.
• Webinar participation reward: Members participating in a webinar can earn 300 Points.
• Tradeshow participation reward: Members participating in a tradeshow can earn 300 Points.

Points for Purchases

• 1 USD equals 1 Point.
• Online orders will receive an additional bonus of 0.2 times the points, up to a maximum of 2000 bonus points.
• GMP orders are not eligible for Points Campaigns.
• Members can earn an additional 1,000 Points for completing their first payment order.
• Currency Exchange: For transactions in non-US currencies, GenScript will convert the amounts to US dollars based on its current standard conversion practices.
• Cancellation Policy: In the event of an order cancellation, any earned points will be revoked.

5. Redeeming Points

Points are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash. Members may donate them to their own group, where group points can only be used to redeem coupons.

Redeeming for Coupons:

• 100 Points equate to 1 US Dollar for redemption purposes.
• Only one coupon, with a value of up to $100, can be applied per order.
• The coupons redeemed with points are valid for 365 days.
• Coupons cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or special pricing agreements.

Redeeming for Gift:

• Members must carefully verify the type and quantity of redeemed gifts. Once submitted successfully, order information cannot be modified.
• Gifts cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a quality issue.
• If any quality or quantity issues are found with the redeemed gifts, the applicant must contact GenScript headquarters or the local sales manager within 3 business days after receiving the gifts. Delayed claims will be considered as confirmed without errors.
• The images of gifts displayed in the GenScript Points Mall are for reference only. Actual gifts may vary in color, material, and other attributes.
• Due to inventory or other factors, GenScript reserves the right to adjust the types of gifts available in the Points Mall based on actual circumstances.
• 500 Points equate to 1 US Dollar for redemption purposes.
• Each account can redeem gift cards up to a maximum of USD 100 per transaction.
• Gift redemption limits may vary by region. Please log into your account to check the availability in your country. Members from the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, the United States, France, Singapore, and Australia are eligible to redeem Points up to $250 USD per calendar year from the Gift Catalog. Members from other eligible regions can redeem points from the Gift Catalog up to $150 USD per year.
• Gift availability is subject to stock levels and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of depletion of gift inventory, GenScript reserves the discretion to provide an alternative gift of comparable value.
• Delivery times for gifts will differ by destination, and recipients outside the United States should anticipate extended delivery periods.
• For security reasons, you need to obtain a code to use your card. Please find and view your e-gift code by clicking the order ID number to enter the order details page. It will be available within 2-4 hours after redemption. If you have not received an e-gift card after four hours, we might run out of the gift cards, and we will restock the inventory within 7 business days.
• GenScript Digital Gift cards remain valid for a period of three (3) years.
• Please be aware that eGift cards are redeemable exclusively for eligible goods and services offered by the issuing third-party platform and its affiliates in accordance with their terms and conditions. The onus is on the program participant to ascertain the acceptability of eGift cards within their country of residence. Members are expected to comply with the terms and policies stipulated by brands when utilizing digital gift cards.

Redeeming for Research Tools:

• Members can use their points to redeem the Codon Optimization Tools. The redemption rules are as follows:
  1. 99 Points can be redeemed for 30 days of free use of the Codon Optimization Tool.
  2. 249 Points can be redeemed for 90 days of free use of the Codon Optimization Tool.
  3. 999 Points can be redeemed for 365 days of free use of the Codon Optimization Tool.
• When members optimize sequences using the tool, they need to redeem points to download the optimization report if the sequence isn't converted into an order. The report can be downloaded for free if converted into an order.
• Members who have placed Molecular Biology orders in the past year can use the Codon Optimization Tools for free without spending points.

Redeeming for Research Resources:

Members can redeem resources, including handbooks, whitepapers, application notes, webinars, etc.

6. Points History

• After an order is placed, the system displays estimated points, which are non-redeemable. Upon receipt of payment, these estimated points will be converted into valid points within three business days.
• Members can check the source and consumption of points in the Account Center.

7. Amendments to Terms and Conditions:

Members are advised that the most current iteration of these Terms and Conditions will be accessible on the GenScript website. A Member’s ongoing engagement with the GenSpark Points Program after the publication of any amendments will signify the Member’s consent to such changes. Should a Member object to any modifications to the GenSpark Points Program or its Terms, they may contact Member Support at techsupport@genscript.com and request that their membership be terminated.
