Xing Gao, PhD

Senior Scientist

Xing Gao, PhD, is a Senior Scientist in the R&D Department of Molecular Biology at GenScript. Previously, Dr. Gao conducted research in Cardiovascular Science at the University of Glasgow (UofG), focusing on investigating post-translational modifications (PTMs) that regulate cellular distribution and transmembrane cation flux via TRPM7, and their function in cardiovascular diseases. During her PhD, she was awarded by the International Society for Developmental Research on Magnesium (SDRM) in 2022 and has published 7 related papers. Joining GenScript in 2023, she is responsible for the Mutant Library Project and has contributed to the design of over 20 libraries for diverse applications.
